Australia's premier community management conference brings together local builders, thinkers, managers, and creators with leading international experts for two days of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. Aiming to create a conference that community managers across Australia would take pride in, Swarm sought to establish a robust identity ahead of the event. The new design needed to maintain visual continuity with the previous brand to ensure audience recognition. Drawing inspiration from a bustling beehive, a fitting analogy for a dynamic social media conference, the brand refresh incorporates a lighter, friendlier tone of yellow, evolving from the signature orange palette.
This hue evokes the colour of a beehive, symbolising the collaborative spirit central to Swarm's identity. Complementary blue tones are added to highlight or balance various design elements. The website's user experience is enhanced through clean, bold typography and an intuitive, easily navigable menu. A key element of Swarm’s new identity is the emphasis on its conference attendees, the Swarm colony, reflecting the collective energy and engagement of the community.
