In 2016, Greenpeace held a "Save the Arctic" poster contest to raise awareness about environmental threats to the Arctic. Participants worldwide created artwork highlighting the need to protect the region from climate change, oil drilling, and industrial fishing. Winning designs were featured in Greenpeace campaigns to engage the public and policymakers in preserving this fragile ecosystem.
Unfortunately, my poster did not win the contest but gained 1453 likes and was placed 15th after all. It was also posted on the "Save the Arctic" Greenpeace Facebook page and chosen amongst 100 other outstanding posters to be printed as a postcard for the Norwegian Minister of Environment to remind him of his obligation to follow the lead of the fishing industry and protect these areas for good.
